Satoshi Ogawa
Born in Tokyo in 1978.
CEO of LDH apparel Inc, known for his work as a costume director and a designer, whose pieces have been featured in concert tours, music videos, movies, and stage performances by artists of LDH JAPAN, a Japanese entertainment agency.
He then launched “FORSOMEONE” in 2018.
Since his youth, Satoshi has been devoted to US and EU fashion, music, and street youth culture.
After formally studying graphic and architectural design, he learned fashion design solo, then began designing for domestic and overseas brands.
He started his career as a costume designer for the Japanese boy band “EXILE” in his mid-twenties.
From there, he supervised the costume department of LDH JAPAN and innovated a unique fashion business, interconnected with entertainment as a CEO of LDH apparel Inc. a subsidiary of LDH JAPAN.
Satoshi launched FORSOMEONE as a designer with the "Fall/Winter 2018" collection and the following year the "Spring/Summer 2020" exhibition was presented in Paris. The brand's first runway show "Fall/Winter 2020", was held behind closed doors due to COVID-19.
The brand name “FORSOMEONE” came from his experience of making clothes for someone, especially artists he has worked closely with.
Under the concept of "NEW LEGACY", Satoshi produces collections reconstructed from his own perspective, focusing on the overseas fashion culture that inspired him.
